Parting ways
Last week I realized I am forcing myself to just get by with some of the habits that I have been tracking for the last 3 months. Doing as little as possible at the very end of the day just to put a tick on the calendar. Some of the ones that I have been tracking are actually things I do and enjoy now. Others not so much. They were like chores that I dreaded doing.
So I stopped tracking meditations and exercises. I can't say that I have been successful into converting those into habits in 3 months and honestly I ran out of patience. With my sleep schedule being all over the place, it was quite difficult to do these things at the same time everyday. Which is one of the most important things for habits to stick. The others are things that I naturally can find time to do. I also actually enjoy doing them.
So stopped fooling myself and stopped tracking all of the habits all together. I think I have successfully managed to get 3 of them to stick and I am fine with that. Maybe in the future when I have a better daily schedule, I will try to go back and achieve the other two.
